     After high school, David H. Weiss immediately joined the United States Coast Guard (USCG), where he served in both Active Duty and the Reserves until 2017. While serving in the USCG, lawyer David H. Weiss served in multiple hazardous duty locations, including a deployment to Afghanistan. 

     Lawyer David H. Weiss graduated from UIC Law (formerly the John Marshall Law School) in 2014. David always had a passion for Family Law, having seen many of his fellow service members going through divorces and custody disputes. David channeled that passion and his appetite for the law into externships with the Circuit Court of Cook County's Domestic Relations Division and the Cook County Domestic Violence Legal Clinic.
